Man hit, killed by 2 cars while crossing West Side highway Drivers not at fault, police say
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say it appears two different drivers who hit a man on a West Side highway, killing him, did nothing wrong.
Both drivers stopped to render aid after the crash, which happened around 10 p.m. Thursday, police said.
They say it appears the man was running across the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 near Culebra Road when he was hit.
He died before he could be taken to a hospital.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is still working to identify him.
Officers at the scene said neither driver appeared to be intoxicated, that this deadly crash appeared to be an accident.
