Easter cupcakes, aerial arts, spring makeup trends, car giveaway, Easter decor + shrimp & grits recipe

SA Live guest, The Aerium School of Aerial Acrobatics (KSAT 12 abc)

SAN ANTONIO – Today at 1 p.m., we’re making cupcakes for Easter with a local bakery, checking out Easter decor, and heading to CarFest. Plus, Jen learns the aerial arts and we find out the latest spring makeup trends.

We sweeten things up for Easter and make cupcakes with Southern Sweet Artistry. They are a mother-and-daughter-owned business. They do everything from cakes, cookies and almost any kind of dessert you could want.

Speaking of Easter, it’s a new Happy Space that takes us inside Armadillo Antiques N More for Easter decor at this antiques and vintage furniture store.

Look your best this spring with on-point makeup trends from Elsa Fernandez of Eye Candy Boutique. Save 15 percent on her website with the code SALive2023.

Are you ready to win a car? We check out this year’s CarFest. It’s a local 501c3 that repairs cars for a nonprofit that grants money for vocation trade schools, and gives 8 cars away to the general public once a year during the festival. Their goal is to promote unity in the community.

The Chef Kaius Xperience shares a shrimp and grits recipe with us, and be sure to check out this local chef’s catering and private dining options for Easter.

Plus, Jen takes flight! She heads inside The Aerium for aerial arts instruction. The Aerial arts is a sacred practice and The Aerium wants to help their students become the best version of themselves through flight and fitness. You can learn the aerial arts, too, with a special SA Live discount of 50% off of a trial class using promo code SALIVE.
