2 sought in armed robbery of San Antonio store; items stolen from shoppers, employees
SAN ANTONIO โ Two men are wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred at a 7-Eleven convenience store last week. According to Crime Stoppers, two men walked into the store in the 6000 block of Interstate 35 South at 6 a.m. Aug. 20 and demanded belongings. They were able to steal from the store, its employees and customers before fleeing in a silver sedan. Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects involved. Man wielding handgun robs 7-Eleven convenience store, police say
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are looking for the person responsible for an aggravated robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store earlier this month. The robbery occurred July 5 around 1:30 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store in the 13900 block of Interstate 37 South. Anyone with any knowledge of the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP. Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the Crime Stoppers website. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Texas woman spits on counter after being told to wear a mask
FORT WORTH, Texas A Texas woman became verbally abusive and spit on the counter of a 7-Eleven after being told she needed to wear a face mask in order to make a purchase. The video shows the woman arguing with the cashier, saying she has a right in America not to wear a mask. In Tarrant County, customers are required to wear masks inside of businesses to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Businesses that do not require customers to wear face masks are in violation of the order. Videos of people refusing to wear a mask in public places and reacting aggressively have become common on social media.
Man sought in robbery of 7-Eleven convenience store on NW Side
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are searching for a man who robbed a Northwest Side convenience store early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. at a 7-Eleven store in the 6400 block of Babcock Road, not far from DeZavala Road and Interstate 10. According to police, the man walked into the store and threatened the cashier, claiming to have a gun. Police said the man, however, never brandished the gun to the cashier. Authorities said officers and the Eagle helicopter searched the area for the man, but that they were unable to locate him.
