"Her elite performance and commitment to excellence has earned her the right to officiate the Super Bowl. This will be the first Super Bowl for Coleman as well as Thomas and second for Cheffers, Bryan, Baynes, Hall and Paganelli.
Overtaxed Idaho health facilities on brink of rationing care
Primary Health will turn three more facilities into COVID-19 clinics by Dec. 30 and has plans to change over more if needed. โI'm not at the hospitals,โ said Dr. David Peterman, a pediatrician and CEO of Primary Health Medical Group. Health care workers would have to choose who gets treatment and who doesnโt. Nickolas Orr was one of two soldiers meeting patients in their cars outside the Primary Health clinic. Meanwhile, inside the Primary Health clinic, Thomas, the physician assistant, put on sterilized protective equipment as workers sanitized an exam room before the next patient.
Bach issues gentle plea for Olympians to get vaccinated

In a more private setting, Bach has spoken directly about Olympic athletesโ responsibility to consider the vaccine. In an on-line session last month with the IOCโs Athletesโ Commission, Bach was asked โ among other things โ if athletes would be โforcedโ to be vaccinated. As well as the 11,000 Olympic athletes, there could be tens of thousands of officials, judges, VIPs, and media and broadcasters traveling to Japan for the games.

Democratic lawmakers want answers about the clubbing, punching and other force deployed by some Park Police in routing protesters from the front of the White House on Monday. Bernhardt in the letter took responsibility for asking for the National Guard deployment at federal monuments in the Washington protests. White House officials and others in the administration had pinned the decision on Barr. The White House and the Park Police have emphatically denied that tear gas was used to clear the demonstrators Monday. Theres millions of people who come to the White House every year, Thomas said of the protest space.
Converse woman makes masks for neighbors to use
SAN ANTONIO โ A woman in Converse is giving a new meaning to the term โneighborlyโ during the coronavirus pandemic. Karen Thomas is helping supply face masks for her neighbors who need them. Thomas said she knows masks are nearly impossible to find in stores. With the Center for Disease Control and Prevention now recommending that people wear masks when they visit public spaces, Thomas wanted to help. She said she leaves masks in a Ziploc bag outside her door for her neighbors to use.
