Brown was initially booked on misdemeanor counts, but prosecutors recently elevated the case to a felony, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. In the first instance, the woman told her 10-year-old daughter to try to take a cellphone photo of the man.
No. 17 Creighton tops UConn 59-56 to reach Big East finals

The second-seeded Bluejays (20-7) will play eighth-seeded Georgetown Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in their third Big East final since joining the conference for the 2013-14 season. They came in shooting 48.7% to lead the Big East. Creighton will look for its first Big East Tournament championship a little more than a week after McDermott was suspended by the school for making racially insensitive remarks to his team. Creighton: Zegarowski struggled to find his groove most of the game against Cole and UConn's tough perimeter defense.
CHAMPIONS: Cole boys defeat Tatum, win first state title since 1989
On the exact anniversary of the 2020 University Interscholastic League (UIL) state tournamentโs cancellation due to COVID-19, the Cougars used a third-quarter surge to knock off Tatum in the Class 3A State Championship Game at the Alamodome, 77-60. Trailing 9-7 after one quarter of play, Cole found some separation in the second quarter. Cole then outscored Tatum 31-12 in the third quarter, providing all the separation they would need to cruise to the title. Cole boys defeat Little River Academy, advance to second straight UIL Class 3A State Championship Game
โIt feels great,โ Blackmore said. โWeโre going back to the championship game, and we actually get to play it this year. I love how we can come through in a tight game like this against a great team. โYou never know if youโre going to get back to state or if youโre ever going to have a chance to get back to a state championship. Cole girls use fourth-quarter surge to knock off Karnes City in Area Round
SAN ANTONIO โ Junior guard Nadja Babilonia-Lopez pours in 18 points, Vivian Iwuchukwu adds 16, and the Cole girls basketball team defeated Karnes City 52-43 at Paul Taylor Fieldhouse to punch their tickets to the third round for the first time since 2016.
Texans running out of food as weather crisis cripples supply chain
A Fiesta grocery store in South Austin saw a shortage of some goods as customers stocked up early in the week. From farm to table, freezing temperatures and power outages are crippling the supply chain that people rely on for food every day. Some are storing their remaining rations in coolers outside, and trips to the grocery store often do little to replenish pantries. Several food banks affiliated with Feeding Texas have also started providing food supplies to emergency warming shelters in the stateโs major cities. AdFor Texas residents, disruptions to the food supply chain, often combined with continued power outages, mean eating non-perishable canned goods or leftover items like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
