SAN ANTONIO – Today at 1 p.m., SA Live goes to the dogs for National Dog Day! Plus, Wild Wednesday and yummy Korean macarons.

First, we want to know what you love about your dog! Let us know on the @SALiveKSAT Facebook and Twitter pages, and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram!

Looking for snacks for your pups? The Snack Waggin’ has ‘em! Plus, a South Side shop where you can get adorable outfits for Fido and Fifi, Poodle in Pink, and don’t forget about dog rescues! Our local Animal Defense League is getting ready to take in dogs that need help during Hurricane Laura, the Texas Chihuahua Rescue is selling masks and Dog Friendly San Antonio is hosting a virtual “yappy” hour. Also, doggy daycare Camp Bow Wow is teaching us how to get our dogs ready for when we head back to work (whenever that is) and how to adjust them to our new normal.

It’s Wild Wednesday! Fiona is checking out what’s flying around at the San Antonio Zoo. Teachers get in free this month, and the zoo needs your donations! Click here to give generously.

If you want a tasty treat for yourself, you don’t want to miss out on the fun, Korean macarons at Ooyoo Pan!
