2 adults, 1 child injured in small plane crash north of Canyon Lake
CANYON LAKE – Two adults and a child were injured in a small plane crash Monday north of Canyon Lake, officials said. Canyon Lake Fire Chief Darren Brinkkoeter said the adults were airlifted to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle. The child was released to a parent who later arrived at the scene. The crash was reported at 1:04 p.m. in the 200 block of Primrose Path in Canyon Lake, Brinkkoeter said. The flight path shows the plane took off from Fort Stockton around 11 a.m. and was bound for Canyon Lake Airport.

BRYAN, Texas – A small plane that crashed last weekend in Texas, killing three family members and injuring another person, had just taken off from the airport, federal officials said. The National Transportation Safety Board said in a preliminary report Thursday that the pilot had purchased the Piper PA-24-250 airplane about a week earlier. Sheriff: At least 8 killed in plane collision at Idaho lake
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – At least eight people, including three children, were killed when two airplanes collided over a scenic mountain lake in northern Idaho, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office said Monday. That plane was carrying five passengers, including three children, and a pilot, the sheriff's office said. The second airplane was a Cessna 206 that was carrying at least two people, the sheriff's office said. The sheriff's office identified the pilot of the float plane as Neil Lunt, 58, of Liberty Lake, Washington. Officials are pretty sure only two people were aboard that plane, Higgins said.

US pilot in fighter jet crash named; cause unclear
LONDON – The fighter pilot who died after crashing off the coast of northern England has been identified as 1st Lt. Kenneth Allen, the U.S. Air Force said Tuesday. Allen, 27, died in a routine training accident that took place at at 9:40 a.m. Monday. Allen, who was from northern Utah, had been based with the 48th Fighter Wing at the Royal Air Force’s Lakenheath base since February of this year. He was the assistant chief of weapons and tactics for the 493rd Fighter Squadron. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Lt. Allen, and mourn with his family and his fellow Reapers in the 493rd Fighter Squadron," said Col. Will Marshall, 48th Fighter Wing commander.
Minor only person in plane during crash near Bulverde Airport
SAN ANTONIO – Officials are investigating a plane crash that happened near the Bulverde Airport on Wednesday afternoon. A minor was flying the plane before it crashed just after 5:30 p.m. in the 29000 block of Bulverde Road, officials said. The minor was the only person in the plane. They were taken to University Hospital with only minor injuries, officials said. The Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Public Safety troopers are looking into the cause of the crash.
