Alaina Henderson was celebrating a new job at a Hollywood Park restaurant last year when she became an innocent bystander of gun violence. Her mother is now leading the revolution to change the status quo of gun violence in America.

HOLLYWOOD PARK, Texas โ North Side residents are speaking against hatred after flyers supporting a white supremacist cause were found in their neighborhoods. Hollywood Park police found several flyers that appeared to be anti-Black, anti-Semitic, and anti-abortion that called for people to join the organizationโs cause. It is just asking for trouble that none of us need or want.โNorth Side resident Nicole Conaway agrees. Love is love, no matter what color you are.โPat Sankey said she, too, was upset to hear about the flyers. โI think we need to look to all of our collective church groups together and remember that God is love,โ Sankey said.

Hollywood Park police investigating โanti-Black Lives Matter and anti-abortionโ flyers
HOLLYWOOD PARK, Texas โ Hollywood Park police are investigating propaganda-type flyers that were found at numerous homes in the area and in the Stone Oak area this weekend. The department issued a statement Sunday on social media, saying the flyers were โanti-Black Lives Matterโ and โanti-abortion rhetoric.โThe flyers were placed in Ziploc bags with small rocks, which police said they believe was to make sure they didnโt blow away once they were placed. Driver killed in crash on Loop 1604 near Stone Oak Parkway identified
SAN ANTONIO โ A driver who was killed in a crash during wet weather in north San Antonio earlier this week has been identified. The victim was identified Friday as Joel Bustamante, 26, by the Bexar County Medical Examinerโs Office. According to police, two vehicles hydroplaned in the wet weather prior to the crash on Wednesday morning. Bustamante lost control and crashed into those vehicles, causing a chain reaction, police said. The westbound lanes of Loop 1604 were closed for several hours.

SAN ANTONIO โ A 26-year-old man was killed in an accident along Loop 1604 on the North Side Wednesday morning. San Antonio police responded to the wreck around 6 a.m. on the westbound lanes of Loop 1604 near Stone Oak Parkway before Highway 281. The driver lost control and crashed into the other vehicles, causing a chain reaction, police said. The westbound lanes of Loop 1604 were closed during the investigation, but have since reopened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. A major accident has been reported on Loop 1604 near Blanco Road on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020.
Town of Hollywood Park attempting to recover nearly $200,000 stolen in 2019 cyber theft
Prichard called in the U.S. Secret Service to assist in the investigation. We very likely would be out the entire amount.โThe Secret Service seized the money and continued their investigation. Agents ruled out any Hollywood Park city employees being involved as well as anyone at Frost Bank. Bill Day, senior vice president, corporate communication for Frost Bank, said the letter sent by White last year remains the bankโs position today. The Secret Service said they couldnโt comment because the case is still open but did confirm no arrests have been made.
Massive homeless tunnel town uncovered in San Antonio
The City of Hollywood Park is trying to figure out how to clean-up an underground town of homeless people uncovered this week. The underground tunnel was uncovered when an officer saw a homeless person crawl in to a drainage tunnel. โAnd it really is like a small little town down there.โThe tunnels are covered with trash, shopping carts, food, feces and furniture. Since the tunnel town was uncovered, officers have check on them at least twice a day to clear people out. The tunnel crosses 281 underground, which is TxDOT jurisdiction, and exits into San Antonioโs jurisdiction.
