SAISD gives public a chance to comment on 'rightsizing' plan

Earlier this week, we reported on San Antonio ISD's plans to close 19 schools over the next few years. They're calling the proposal "rightsizing" and they said it's due to declining enrollment and budget problems. Now, the district is giving parents, teachers and members of the community a chance to sound off on the proposal. The first of those 22 chances was Saturday morning at Lowell Middle School. People were allowed to ask questions about the plans, but some said they don't think the district is taking their concerns into consideration.
