SAN ANTONIO – A grizzly bear at the San Antonio Zoo has passed away.
Flo, a female grizzly bear, was euthanized early Friday.

Zoo officials said Flo had become more susceptible to infections and her arthritis began to hamper her movement.
Officials said despite top medical care, her quality of life could no longer be maintained, and the zoo decided to euthanize her.
Flo arrived at the San Antonio Zoo from Yellow Stone Park in 1993. She would have turned 31-years-old this year.
