Suspects break into two San Antonio ISD schools

Rogers Middle School, Highlands High School broken into, no arrests made

SAN ANTONIO – Two San Antonio ISD schools were broken into within an hour of each other late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. 

The first burglary was reported just before midnight at Rogers Middle School located on Galway Street on the Southeast Side.

SAISD police responded and found two teens who led officers on a chase that ended at the Marigold Apartments.

San Antonio police were called to help search for suspects, but they were not located.

The second break in was reported about an hour later at Highlands High School, also on the Southeast Side.

Police responded to a burglar alarm that went off at the high school.

Police called the K-9 Unit in to help search the building for the suspects.

No one was found and police were not sure if anything had been stolen. Police have not said if the incidents were related.
