SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for a driver who they said crashed a car into a restaurant near Balcones Heights.
Police said the wreck around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lupita's Mexican Restaurant on Fredricksburg Road near Williamsburg Place.
Investigators said the driver went through two parking lots and hit a sign before slamming into the restaurant.
The driver then jumped out of the car and ran.
A gas meter was also damaged, but the gas was quickly turned off.
Investigators said no one was hurt.
