Expert weighs in on local crime trend data connected to violent, property crimes

SAN ANTONIO – Violent and property crimes are said to be decreasing across the nation, but in San Antonio, that’s not the case.

Law enforcement agencies across the country submitted crime statistics from parts of 2018 and 2019 to the FBI.

Crime and Justice reporter Deven Clarke interviewed a local criminal psychologist who looked at the data and said the uptick in crime isn’t necessarily a reason to worry.
