SAPD searching for person who shot a man on the Southeast Side

Man suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for a person who shot a man on Sunday night on the Southeast Side.

The shooting happened at 10:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of East Southcross, near Pecan Valley Elementary School.

Police said the victim, 59, was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower torso area.

The only information police have about the male shooter is that he wore dark-colored clothing. Officers searched for the shooter but were unable to locate him.

The shooting is under investigation.
