SAN ANTONIO – Today on SA Live, pumpkin spice and everything nice - on a sandwich?! Jen heads out to give us a taste. Plus, a beloved author and illustrator from “Sesame Street” gets a new show, locally made toffee, an update on our ‘DWTS’ fantasy league, school solutions and more.

Since we’re going off the rails with sandwiches today, what’s your go-to comfort sandwich? Mike’s parents have a weird one: peanut butter, mayo and onion! Let us know what your go-to is on the @SALiveKSAT Facebook and Twitter pages! You can also follow us on Instagram for behind-the-scenes extras, special deals and more.

Jen is live at PB&J with Tay at The Yard on McCullough Avenue for a taste of a PBJ & pumpkin spice sandwich! It’s everything you love about the pie and the sandwich, all slapped between two pieces of bread.

Jen also takes us out to a local business serving up handmade, fresh toffee. Doubleside Toffee Co. is in Bulverde. Check them out and receive 10% off your first order!

Fiona and Mike test out their Halloween decorating skills with Haeley Giambalvo, of Design Improvised. She’s a wreath-making pro - she’s even written a book about it!

Mike and Fiona also catch up with author and illustrator Mo Willems, who has a new special on HBO Max called “Don’t Let the Pigeon Do Storytime!” If you like “Sesame Street," you might like this; Willems directed the opening for “Elmo’s World.”

Back-to-school problems need back-to-school solutions. We’ll hear from lifestyle expert Carly Dorogi about some items to make your students' lives easier.

Plus, an update on our “Dancing with the Stars” fantasy league! The results might surprise you...
