SAN ANTONIO โ After four terms serving as Bexar County Precinct 1 Commissioner, Sergio โChicoโ Rodrรญguez was defeated in the Democratic primary runoff by political newcomer, Rebeca โBeckyโ Clay-Flores. The win in the primary election has earned Clay-Flores, a special projects manager for the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, the day off. For months, Clay-Flores campaigned throughout parts of South and West San Antonio, areas that make up Precinct 1. SAN ANTONIO โ Updated at 12 a.m.: Rebeca โBeckyโ Clay-Flores took a huge lead early Tuesday in the Democratic runoff for Bexar County Commissioner, Precinct 1, to knock out the incumbent, Sergio โChicoโ Rodriguez.
