Burger Boy to open 5th San Antonio restaurant on South Side
SAN ANTONIO โ One of San Antonioโs favorite burger joints is coming to the South Side. Burger Boy on Wednesday confirmed that it will open a fifth location this summer at 4402 S. New Braunfels Ave. โSince the announcement of our third location two years ago, our social media fan base has been calling for a Burger Boy on the Southside,โ Burger Boy co-owner Bryce Pohlmeier said. โWell, we heard them, and weโre excited to make our way there and be a part of the community.โAccording to Burger Boy, a huge fan of the restaurant predicted the exact location of the newest restaurant. AdBurger Boy will also be opening a location on Highway 281 and Bitters Road this Spring.
San Antonio businesses selling signature Girl Scout Cookie-themed treats
SAN ANTONIO โ Girl Scout Cookie season is officially here, which means you may see some of your favorite local businesses dreaming up a cookie concoction for a limited time. Annually, the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas partners with local restaurants and venues to offer Girl Scout Cookie-themed treats with a twist. Burger Boy announced that the restaurant chain would be serving a Girl Scout Cookie inspired shake at all locations beginning Feb. 12. The bakery is located at 7824 Mainland Drive and will be serving up several Girl Scout Cookie creations for a limited time. Burger Boy adding fourth, โlong-awaitedโ location on San Antonioโs North Side, chain says
SAN ANTONIO โ Burger Boy is expanding in San Antonio. The popular burger spot on Monday announced a fourth location in the Alamo City, this one at 151 W. Bitters Road near U.S. Hwy 281. The burger jointโs second location opened in February 2019 at Potranco Road and Hunt Lane. The original Burger Boy on the St. Maryโs Strip opened in the 1980s. The original restaurant was owned by the Bates family -- part of the same family that created Whopper Burger in San Antonio in the 1950s.
