A noticeable shift toward a more summer-like pattern is expected across South-Central Texas this week. After a warm and humid start, tropical moisture will surge into the region by Tuesday, increasing both humidity and daily chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Sunday will be mostly warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s, featuring a small chance (30%) of storms between 4pm and 8pm that may bring heavy rain, lightning, and small hail. Monday will be warmer, near 90°, with only a slight chance for an afternoon storm, while another weather system on Tuesday night into Wednesday could bring widespread rain and possible street flooding before drier conditions return later in the week.

Temperatures will go from hot and humid, to chilly by Saturday afternoon due to a front. Rain is possible with the front.

Easter Sunday in San Antonio will be damp and cool with intermittent light rain, while areas north of the city, especially the Hill Country, will see significantly less rain.

A quiet week will end with a cold front on Friday.

High-pressure system is keeping the weather warm and mostly dry in San Antonio. By midweek, this high is forecast to move away, allowing a low pressure system and weak front to slide in—bringing increased humidity, clouds, and the first real shot at rain in days.
