'The Bachelor' Blog: Quit playing games Corinne, you can't have it that way

Whip cream, nanny bombshells and surprise eliminations during Week 3

SAN ANTONIO – Questions, concerns and doubts swirled around the cocktail party after the truth came out about Nick’s past with Liz.

Despite the dramatic cliffhanger, I was shocked to see the ladies handle everything so well. If I were in that situation I would have definitely called Nick out for his shenanigans.

Enter Corinne and another attempt to stir the pot. Again she used her sexiness and some well placed whipped cream to get his attention. This is going to get really old if we have to deal with this all season.

Despite her crazy antics, Nick put the brakes on her wildness. I can’t help but feel sorry for her. She seems so insecure. Her desperate need for attention is not cute. She fell apart when Nick rejected her poorly placed moves. What did she think was going to happen?

When it came time for the rose ceremony, Corinne thought it would be a good idea to take a nap. She is such a hot mess. How long is Nick going to put up with her? Is this the Corinne show? Let’s move on. This is getting depressing.

The Backstreet Boys stole the spotlight on the group date. You know the teenage girl inside me was screaming.

Despite the star power, Corinne made it about her, her lack of confidence and serious lack of dance skills. You just knew she would be annoyed when Danielle L. got the slow dance moment with Nick. It was kind of nice to see her shaking in her boots a little.

We were also dealt another bombshell when Corinne told the ladies about her nanny. You heard me. She is 24 years old and has a nanny. I would love someone to make my bed, my favorite dishes, oh and keep my life in order. Can she please put on her big girl pants and grow up?!

Switching gears to one of my favorite ladies, Vanessa. She experienced life without gravity on a zero gravity plane on her date. Nick grew on me a little bit when he stayed by her side when she got sick on plane. My heart melted a little more when he teared up during their dinner conversation. For a moment it seemed like he was in it for the right reasons. I have to admit I like Vanessa a lot! She has so much class in a sea of ridiculousness. My husband summed up this date best when he looked at me and said, “She is definitely wife material.” Nick better not mess this up!

Athletic skills were put to the test during the group date track and field competition. His connection was clear with some of the ladies but Dominique felt overlooked. When she confronted Nick, he laid it all on the line and sent her home. I can’t help but think she really didn’t try that hard. I feel like this was the first time we ever really saw her. There was some shock about her elimination but was it really that unexpected?

Nick decided to shake things up by switching the cocktail party for a pool party. The desperation was ridiculous as the ladies fought for his attention.

Yet again, Corinne threw herself at Nick and yet again he gave into her. I couldn’t help but shake my head when she got crazy with him in a bouncy house. Now this is just getting ridiculous. The few cool points he earned during his sweet time with Vanessa just flew out the window with this nonsense. I definitely wasn’t the only one who wasn’t impressed.

Several of the ladies took control of the situation and confronted Nick about his time with Corinne. My girl Vanessa summed it all up perfectly when she told him, “I’m not judging Corinne. I’m judging your actions.” You go girl!

I’m so curious to see how he’s going to handle this situation, especially since he was in the same position as Corinne during Kaitlyn’s season. Everyone was eager to slam him and his intentions.

So will this make him more empathetic to Corinne? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. No matter what, it’s about time for some real talk and Nick better buckle up. Things are about to get rocky! Get ready for serious crazy during Monday night’s rose ceremony.

Don’t miss a minute of the romance Mondays at 7 p.m. on KSAT 12.
