A man was hospitalized after he suffered a gunshot wound on the East Side late Monday night.
San Antonio police said the gunshot victim walked to a convenience store in the 900 block of Porter Street around 10 p.m. and the clerk called police.
Police and paramedics responded and the man told officers he had been shot by two men a few blocks away in the 2100 block of Virginia Boulevard.
The man was transported to Mission Trail Hospital for treatment. Police did not give an update on his condition or have not announced any arrests in connection with the case
