Traffic Alert: I-35 closures at New Braunfels Ave.

SAN ANTONIO – If you drive on Interstate 35 at New Braunfels Avenue, you're going to want to find an alternate route.

The construction will affect overnight and early morning travelers, as the main northbound lanes of Interstate 35 will be completely shut down at New Braunfels Avenue.

Drivers will have to exit on the access road and re-enter at Walters. However, the AT&T Center Parkway exit will be shut down.

The construction closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights, from now until Aug. 16.
