SAN ANTONIO – Friends gathered Sunday evening to remember Nick Medlock, 17, who died Saturday afternoon when he crashed his car into a tree on Woodstone Drive.
"I mean, I was speechless. I've never seen a car so torn apart and wrapped around a tree," said Lane Salas, a senior at Clark High School. "It just makes you think about his family for his family. I mean, I can't imagine being so close to graduation and losing a son, friend, or cousin, nephew."
As friends gathered, they remembered the popular teen. They hope officials will be able to answer how the accident happened.
