Police said the woman was riding in the front passenger seat of a tan-colored car being driven by her husband.

Witnesses told police that the tan car was in the westbound turn lane when it pulled in front of a black car in the eastbound lanes.

Police said the tan car apparently failed to yield to the oncoming eastbound traffic and collided with the black car.

According to police, the woman was older and appeared to be wearing a seat belt.

No one in the black car suffered serious injuries.

The man who was driving the tan car is not expected to face charges, police said.

The woman has not yet been identified.
