SAN ANTONIO – A crash Friday morning involving an 18-wheeler and a car in Leon Valley caused a diesel spill.
The big rig's diesel tank ruptured, spilling 100 gallons of diesel onto Huebner Road near Evers Road around 11 a.m.
Huebner Road was closed in both directions while crews and a professional mitigation company cleaned up the spill.
A man was injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
