Poteet police officer accused of using 'pressure point hold' on woman during argument

Tabita Guerrero, 41, charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury

SAN ANTONIO – Poteet police officer Tabita Guerrero, 41, was arrested and charged with domestic assault causing bodily injury on Monday.

Deputies were called to a home in the 300 block of Perch Meadow for a disturbance and found a woman with a "bleeding scratch."

The victim told police she was arguing with Guerrero when the police officer used a "pressure point hold under the (victim's) chin." 

The victim said the pressure point hold caused her pain, redness and a bleeding scratch.

Deputies said Guerrero admitted to the assault and was taken into custody.
