NW Side pizza shop making changes after string of robberies

3 pizza restaurants hit by robbers in 4 days

SAN ANTONIO – It was business as usual Friday at the Little Caesars on Wurzbach Parkway and Vance Jackson Street.

Thursday night that wasn't the case, as the restaurant was the scene of the third pizza shop target in just four days.

"The guy jumped the counter and there was a guy cleaning, and he said, 'Who's got the key to the safe?" said General Manager Maria Del Bosque.

The gunman was wearing a bandana around his face. He made off with an unknown amount of cash and took off in a car waiting nearby.

Employees have been left wondering how to better protect themselves.

"I think we are going to start locking (the doors) at 10 p.m. and if they have orders then we just open the door for them. There's cameras all over," Del Bosque said.

This is the second time little Caesars has been robbed. Del Bosque cant figure out why any one would target them.

"I don't really know why. I guess they just want easy money. Those guys don't want to work," Del Bosque said.
