Suspect flaunts knife, steals merchandise at Sears department store

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for an aggravated robbery.

The incident occurred Tuesday, Nov. 21 at a Sears department store located in the 6300 block of Northwest Loop 410.

According to police, the suspect entered the store and proceeded to conceal merchandise under his clothing. That's when, police said, the suspect made no attempt to pay before loss prevention officers contacted him outside the store. The man then brandished a knife at the officers before fleeing the scene with the stolen property.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
