From hate to love, Spurs fans sound off on LaMarcus Aldridge's recent play

Aldridge has been criticized for his poor performance as a Spur

SAN ANTONIO – In the eyes of some Spurs fans, LaMarcus Aldridge has gone from most criticized to now most beloved after scoring back-to-back season highs this week.

Aldridge, who scored 33 points on Monday and then 41 points on Wednesday, was highly scrutinized last season by many for his poor performance in the regular season that continued into the postseason.

Spurs and NBA fans alike were left wondering if Aldridge was worth the four-year, $80 million contract deal he signed back in 2015.

Aldridge averaged 18 points per game in his first year and then 17.3 PPG in his second with the silver and black.

However, with Aldridge currently averaging 23.1 PPG in the first 21 games and playing what head coach Gregg Popovich calls “like an All-Star,” KSAT’s David Sears wanted to ask Spurs fans: Has your perception of Aldridge changed to start the 2017-18 season?
