Bexar County Commissioners Court meetings to be conducted online
SAN ANTONIO โ In an effort to protect residents and officials against COVID-19, Bexar County Commissioners Court meetings will now be held virtually. According to a news release, beginning with the next regularly scheduled commissioners court session at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the meetings will be held via Zoom. After FBI raid of Pct. 2 office, Wolff urges constable to look 'at herself' rather than others
SAN ANTONIO โ Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff said Monday's raid by the FBI and the Texas Rangers at the office of controversial Precinct 2 Constable Michelle Barrientes Vela "is the first time anything like this has happened since I've been in office." AdBarrientes Vela blamed the "good old boy system" for the raid and said public officials, including Wolff, are out to get her. AdWhen asked by a reporter if the Commissioner's Court could sanction Barrientes Vela, Wolff said, "As this case moves along, we'll see if it reaches that."
