Rollover crash ejects driver from vehicle

Victim was taken to University Hospital for his injuries

SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital following a rollover accident on the city's Southwest Side.

The accident occurred just before 2 a.m. Friday.

San Antonio police said the mid 30s driver was speeding along Highway 90 when he missed his exit to South General McMullen Drive. The driver ended up jumping the guardrail and rolling over three times before landing in an embankment where he hit a pillar to a bridge.

Police said the driver was ejected roughly 25 feet from his vehicle.

The man was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.

The condition of the driver is not known.
