Loop 410 to close at Highway 90 Friday night through Monday morning

Construction company to continue steel bridge beam placement

SAN ANTONIO – Starting at 8 p.m. on Friday, all lanes in both directions -- including the frontage roads -- of Loop 410 will close at Highway 90.

It will reopen at 5 a.m. on Monday.

The lanes will close while crews set steel bridge support beams overhead.

All traffic will exit Highway 90. Southbound traffic will head west to Hunt Lane, turn around and return to I-410. Northbound traffic will head east to West Military, turn around and return to I-410.

The eastbound ramp to southbound Loop 410, and the westbound ramp to northbound  Loop 410 will be closed. Eastbound traffic will turn around at West Military to reach its destination. Westbound traffic will turn around at Hunt Lane to reach its destination.

One closure not mentioned in the above video: Interstate 35 between Walzem Road and Thousand Oaks. "We'll have all lanes, both directions, closed Saturday (November 18) between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. This will allow crews to work on overhead highway signs. This is a closure you'll want to avoid as well," Texas Department of Transportation officials said.
