SAN ANTONIO – The TwinGo company is recalling 4,000 of its TwinGo Original Carrier because the buckles can break and children can be hurt in a fall.
The product is an infant carrier designed to carry one or two babies against a person's body at the waist, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. It is designed for children who weigh 10 to 45 pounds.

The majority of the 4,000 recalled carriers were sold in the United States, with 160 sold in Canada.
The words "TwinGo" are printed on a label on the front of the carrier. An 11-digit batch number is printed on a label sewn to the waistband. Affected batch numbers are 23014024003, 01515026003 and 21615019001.
The company has received 13 reports of buckles breaking. No injuries have been reported.
The products were sold for about $215 at boutique stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and TwinGoCarrier.com from December 2014 through May 2016.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said customers should stop using the carriers and contact TwinGo for a free repair kit, including a replacement buckle and installation instructions. Click here to watch a repair video.
