Church burglars strike again in New Braunfels

Another church, business burglarized in New Braunfels over weekend

SAN ANTONIO – The burglary count is now up to 10 as a church thief or group of thieves struck again in New Braunfels.

The latest burglaries were reported Sunday evening. New Braunfels police say the first break-in occurred at New Braunfels Cardiology around 6 p.m.

Police said several laptop computers were stolen after the glass door was busted.

About 30 minutes later, police said the Freedom Fellowship Church on Oak Run Point was burglarized as well.

Thieves made off with computers and musical instruments after they broke through a glass door.

Police tell us they believe this is the same group responsible for a string of burglaries in New Braunfels over the last month.   

Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Their number is 830-620-TIPS.
