SAN ANTONIO – A home went up in flames on the city's far northwest side.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 5000 block of Roan Brook.

According to officials, the fire started in the kitchen.
No one was home at the time.
Damage estimates range from $30,000 to $40,000.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but arson is still investigating.
