Binz-Engelman shut down due to Rosillo Creek Flood Control Project

James Lovell Drive to Ackerman Road closed from Sept. 25 to April 2014

SAN ANTONIO – A section of Binz-Engelman Road will be closed for seven months while Bexar County construction crews work on the Rosillo Creek Flood Control Project.

Binz-Engelman will be shut down Wednesday from James Lovell Drive to Ackerman Road and will remain closed until mid-April of 2014.

Businesses will be accessible during the construction period.

Bexar County officials said the project will reduce flooding through channel improvements and the construction of several bridges and culvert crossings between FM 78 and Ackerman Road.
