Kerrville braces for more winter weather, TxDOT crews on standby

Kerrville ISD schools open Monday

Kerrville residents are bracing themselves for another round of winter weather on Monday.

The National Weather Service says showers and sleet are likely throughout the day Monday and there is a slight chance of rain or snow late Monday into Tuesday morning.

The NWS says little or no snow accumulation is expected on the ground. However, TxDOT and the Kerrville Police Department have several crews on standby in case ice does accumulate.

Kerrville ISD announced schools will be open Monday and classes will  begin at the regular times. Police are still asking people to stay off the roads if possible.
