SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man made quite the catch off the Texas Coast.
Viewer Terry Samuels posted a picture to the KSAT Facebook page of a man named Ryan, who reeled in a 806 pound shark.
Samuels said Ryan caught the 13-foot shark about five miles off the coast of Port Aransas.
He said it took Ryan about seven hours to win the battle and get the fish in the boat.
According to Samuels, Ryan is planning to donate some of the shark meat to a local homeless facility where he volunteers.
