SAN ANTONIO – A man charged with harassing a woman by telephone says he wants the truth to come out.
Matthew Blanco, 19, was arrested Wednesday afternoon after his girlfriend, Karen Conchas, 20, accused him of calling her 59 times within 20 minutes, according to an arrest affidavit.
Blanco said he and Conchas have a 9-month-old baby girl together. He added they have always had a volatile relationship and Conchas is making him out to be a bad father when all he wants to do is spend time with his daughter.
"As a father, I don't feel like a father, that's the only thing that affects me, I can tell you I love my daughter more than I love Karen," Blanco said.
Authorties said Conchas has been arrested for assaulting Blanco in the past.
