SAN ANTONIO – Starting Friday night, construction crews will begin shutting down alternating lanes of Highway 281 South.
The Texas Department of Transportation San Antonio office said crews will get to work repairing pavement on the roadway.
TxDOT said there will be alternating lane closures from Friday to Monday between Jones Maltsberger Road and Hildebrand Avenue.
Crews will begin the work at 9 p.m. Friday and wrap up at 5 a.m. Saturday, repeating the process each night through Monday morning.
Drivers in the area should expect delays and plan their trips accordingly.
