SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio's biggest party is less than a month away as Fiesta gets set to kick off with the annual Oyster Bake.
The official Fiesta medal and poster for Oyster Bake 2015 were displayed Thursday at St. Mary's University.
Organizers of the Oyster Bake said planning for the event goes on throughout the year.
"This year we really wanted to focus on giving it the true Fiesta feel and to commemorate our university. So it highlights the wonderful things here on our own campus," said Oyster Bake chairperson Imelda Guzman.
There will be six stages at the event with live performances.
Organizers said there will also be new food items this year, like kebabs, shrimp on a stick and fish tacos.
This is the 99th year in the event's history and will take place April 17 and 18 at St. Mary's University.
