Man killed in Southeast Side shooting

Vctim was taken to SAMMC; investigation is ongoing

SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead following a shooting late Sunday night.

The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Porter Street near South New Braunfels on the city's Southeast Side.

San Antonio police said neighbors heard gunshots, and when EMS arrived they found a 28-year-old man shot in the chest.

Paramedics transported the victim to San Antonio Military Medical Center.

SAPD said there were no witnesses to the shooting.

So far no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner has not released a name of the victim.
