MONDAY

The grace period for the 10th annual Great Texas Warrant Roundup has ended, and San Antonio police are looking for people with outstanding warrants for Class C misdemeanors. Those are things like traffic and city code violations. A jury has awarded Erin Andrews $55 million in her lawsuit over nude video taken at hotel and later posted online. Attorneys for the owner and former operator of the Marriott at Vanderbilt argued that while what happened to Andrews was terrible, the convicted stalker, Michael David Barrett, should be solely to blame for the video shot in 2008. A woman took off her clothes and climbed on top of an 18-wheeler Monday morning after a crash on a major Houston highway. You know, because some days you gotta dance! The loss of a legend

Riding off into the sunset

Peyton Manning calls it a career, on the football field at least. Faced with a $19 million deadline, Manning has told the Denver Broncos he is retiring after leading his team to a Super Bowl win. Just in case you were wondering, the legendary quarterback made about $12.5 million in endorsements last year.

Who can yell the loudest?

In a split decision, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump each captured two victories in Saturday's four-state round of voting, fresh evidence that there's no quick end in sight to the fractious GOP race for president. On the Democratic side, Bernie Sanders notched wins in Nebraska and Kansas, while Hillary Clinton snagged Louisiana, another divided verdict from the American people. On Sunday, Marco Rubio won the caucus in Puerto Rico, and while Clinton and Sanders were duking it out on the debate stage in Michigan, Bernie notched his 8th victory when he won the Maine caucus.

Mother Nature is calling

I want to pump you up

Three new bike repair stations are up and running along San Antonio’s trailways. Each station will have screwdrivers, wrenches, tire levers and even an air pump. The city plans to monitor how well the stations are taken care of before a decision is made to install more.

I shall call him squishy

For your daily dose of cute, let’s learn about this super adorable octopus that was recently discovered. It is the deepest dwelling incirrate, or unfinned, octopod ever found. A remotely operated vehicle was cruising the ocean floor more than 14,000 feet below the surface and ta-da! Researchers found a new little friend. No need for much commentary about it, but d’awwww.

Remember the Alamo

Not even an early morning wake-up stopped plenty of folks from coming out and honoring the anniversary of the fall of the Alamo. The commemorative ceremony was held at 6 a.m. Sunday to honor and remember both armies who made the ultimate sacrifice 180 years ago. A seminal moment in Texas history for sure.
