SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to the hospital after he was shot during an attempted robbery.
According to San Antonio police, two men tried to rob a couple in the 7300 block of Lancebury Drive. The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. When the couple did not give up any belongings, one of the men shot the man in the foot, said police.

He was taken to University Hospital and is expected to recover.
The men ran away from the scene and police are investigating.
