SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County deputies arrested a man driving a stolen vehicle after San Antonio police said he was driving the wrong way on multiple highways throughout the city.
According to San Antonio police, officers spotted a stolen vehicle at the corner of 18th Street and Saltillo Street.
Police said when a man got into the vehicle they started following the driver. Once the driver started swerving into oncoming traffic, SAPD dispatched the Bexar County Sheriff's Office to initiate a chase. Deputies chased the driver down Loop 410 West and the access road of Highway 90. Deputies eventually boxed him in at Loop 1604.
The man was arrested and charged with evading arrest, possession of a stolen vehicle and other charges.
