MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – Police stopped a Wisconsin woman suspected of drunken driving and found her 8-year-old son sitting on her lap steering the car.
Authorities said the 37-year old woman failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for her third suspected DWI.
Officials said police saw the car driving an on-ramp with the child on her lap and stopped the vehicle.
Deputies said the boy was crying, because he didn't want to go to jail.
The woman was arrested and charges are pending.
Officials said the boy was turned over to child protective services.
