Officials to have damage report on Rockport-Fulton High School by next week

Principal says schools in bad shape

ROCKPORT, Texas – Rockport-Fulton High School’s principal said district officials are assessing the damage caused by Harvey and will have a report by next week.

He said the schools are in bad shape, with fallen ceilings, damaged windows and water everywhere.

The principal is encouraging parents to enroll students in other schools for the time beings.

Officials will be getting hard copies of student records and removing them from the affected schools for safe keeping soon.
