Hit-and-run victim critically injured; Crime Stoppers offering up to $4,000 for information

NEW BRAUNFELS – A 53-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run early Sunday morning and now, New Braunfels police and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information in the incident.

New Braunfels police said a man was walking along Comal Avenue in New Braunfels around 2:30 a.m. when someone hit him.

The man was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said the suspect's vehicle is red or dark red with possible front-end damage.

According to a news release, Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information that leads to an arrest and/or a grand jury indictment.

Those with information about the incident should call New Braunfels police or the Comal County Crime Stoppers.
