SAN ANTONIO – Joint Base San Antonio on Wednesday will host a job fair for servicemen and servicewomen and their families, hosting 70 employers from the private and government sectors.
The Hiring Heroes Career Fair will be held at the Sam Houston Community Center at 1395 Chaffee Road at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston.
The event is free and open to all JBSA members, including "transitioning, wounded, ill and injured service members, military spouses and family members, veterans, military retirees and primary caregivers."
The job fair has been held twice a year in March and September at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston since the program started 13 years ago.
Volunteers and members of the military's transition assistance program will be on site to provide individuals with tips on their resume.
