SAN ANTONIO – A man was found fatally shot inside a sport utility vehicle on the city's South Side has been identified as Jose Luis Salvador Martinez Jr.
The shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Kyle Street, found not far from Berlin Avenue and South Zarzamora.
Police found an SUV on the side of the road with the windows broken. There was a man in his twenties lying in the backseat who had been shot several times in the back.
The victim's identity has not been released.
Police took an individual in for questioning who they found five blocks away. They did not say if that person was a possible suspect or a witness.
