SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs regular season resumes tonight in Los Angeles.

San Antonio is 43-13 and has 26 regular season games remaining.

Here’s a look at the 12 games that will get the most attention down the stretch.

1. Tonight at LA Clippers:

The Spurs resume their Rodeo Road Trip against the Clips, who will most likely be without Chris Paul.

Pau Gasol is expected to be back in the lineup for San Antonio.

The Clippers are currently tied for fourth in the conference with Utah.

2. March 3 at New Orleans:

The Spurs get their first look at the Pelicans with their new “Twin Towers,” Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

The Pels are still 9 1/2 games out of seventh place in the West, which would be where the Spurs would most likely have to face them in the playoffs.

3. March 6 vs. Houston:

The Spurs and the Rockets appear to be on a collision course to meet in the second round of the Western Conference playoffs.

This would be the last meeting of the regular season between the two rivals, but a Kawhi Leonard-James Harden, Popovich-D’Antoni showdown in Round 2 is extremely appealing.

4. March 9 at Oklahoma City:

The Spurs return to OKC for the first time since last season’s playoff series defeat. This also looks to be a very likely first round playoff matchup for both teams.

The Thunder gave Russell Westbrook some much-needed help at the trade deadline so it will be interesting to see what OKC looks like down the stretch.

5. March 11 vs. Golden State:

Not much needs to be said here. This is the first matchup between the two since the Spurs crushed Golden State in the season opener, and the first time Kevin Durant visits San Antonio as a Warrior.

It’s a primetime matchup on KSAT 12 and both teams are the favorites to play in the Western Conference finals. The AT&T Center should be rocking.

6. March 18 at Memphis:

The Grizz, when healthy, are always a tough matchup for the Spurs, and this will be the first of three games between the two down the stretch.

Memphis is currently sitting in sixth place in the conference, but is always a dangerous opponent.

7. March 23 vs. Memphis:

See above except this matchup is in San Antonio. It will also be fun to see the Gasol brothers go against one another. Not sure how many games the two have left as opponents.

8. March 27 vs. Cleveland:

The Spurs and Cavs will engage in another possible NBA Finals preview. The Spurs beat Cleveland on the road in an overtime thriller last month.

Kawhi Leonard scored 41 points while LeBron James and Kyrie Irving each had 29. This game should have an electric atmosphere.

9. March 29 vs. Golden State:

The Warriors visit San Antonio again in the final regular season meeting between the two.

Last season, coach Popovich sat a few starters during a late regular season matchup with Golden State.

Hopefully that is not the case and we see another elite showdown between these two title contenders.

10. March 31 at Oklahoma City:

The Spurs and OKC meet for their final regular season matchup of the season.

San Antonio will have seen what the Thunder look like with their new additions, but don't expect many strategic changes if it appears as if the two will renew their rivalry in the first round of the playoffs.

11. April 2 vs. Utah:

I throw this game into the mix because the Jazz will be a very interesting team down the stretch.

Their length gives the Spurs problems and Utah is currently first in defensive points allowed.

Utah is deep and can make some noise in the postseason. San Antonio plays at Utah to finish the regular season.

12. April 8 vs. LA Clippers:

The Spurs final regular season home game is against the Clippers.

It’s hard to predict how important this game might be, but the Spurs and the Clippers have built a nice rivalry and it’s on Saturday prime time on KSAT 12. It should be worth watching.
